Description:

An elegant early 20th-century pocket watch by the Elgin National Watch Company, serial number 21033247, embodying the refined American artistry that defined the brand’s celebrated mechanical timepieces.

The white enamel dial features black Arabic numerals with ornate gold filigree detailing and a sub-seconds dial at 6 o’clock. Delicate gilt beadwork outlines the chapter ring, while the gold-toned Louis XV–style hands add an opulent touch. The dial remains in excellent condition with minimal aging, exemplifying the fine decorative work of the early 1900s Elgin design.

Inside, the nickel-finished movement, serial 21033247, is marked “Elgin Nat’l Watch Co., U.S.A.” and displays classic damaskeened decoration, safety pinion, and 17-jewel lever escapement construction. The movement is bright and clean, showing evidence of quality maintenance.

The gold-filled hunter-style case is richly engraved with scrollwork and floral motifs, retaining its warm gilded hue and fine detail.
