Vintage Hamilton pocket watch – 917 model – 17-jewel mechanical – 10K gold-filled Keystone case – collectible U.S. timepiece.

Description:

For sale is a classic Hamilton Model 917 pocket watch, featuring a beautifully finished 17-jewel movement and housed in a 10K gold-filled Keystone case. This fine example of early 20th-century American craftsmanship combines elegance and precision, hallmarks of Hamilton’s reputation as a premier U.S. watchmaker.

The silver-tone dial displays bold black Art Deco numerals, gold-tone hands, and a sub-seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The face retains its original vintage charm with light wear consistent with age.

The movement, marked “Hamilton 917 – 17 Jewels – Adjusted 3 Positions – U.S.A.”, features exquisite Geneva striping and ruby jewel settings. The serial number corresponds to production circa 1940s, during Hamilton’s golden era of fine mechanical timepieces.

The 10K gold-filled case, made by Keystone, is stamped “Hamilton Watch Co. – Keystone J. Boss – 10K Gold Filled” and bears the serial numbers 1365459 and 346911. The case remains in good vintage condition with light surface wear. The watch winds and sets properly; running condition has not been tested and it is offered as-is.
