Mineral identification and origin are based on collector-applied labels; while we make reasonable efforts to research each lot, Best Estate Services has not independently authenticated or verified the specimen. Quartzite specimen lot labeled "Quartzite Loretto Mi." Includes approximately 12 rough/chunk and rounded pieces in assorted sizes with gray, tan, peach, cream, reddish, pale greenish, and mixed coloration, natural rough surfaces, and surface variation. Identification and locality are based on the visible bag label/provided lot information; reference sources support quartzite generally as a hard, non-foliated metamorphic rock formed from quartz sandstone, but the specific Loretto, Michigan locality was not independently verified beyond the visible label. Not every piece has been individually tested. Please review photos for quantity, size, color, texture, condition, and overall appearance. Sold as-is; buyer should rely on photos and/or personal inspection.
